All timber stables are clad using a quality 19mm x 150mm (nominal) pressure
treated redwood shiplap, and have 12mm exterior grade hardwood ply kickboard. We use 3" x 2" pressure treated
framing and 4" x 2" pressure treated roof purlins as standard, (this can be upgraded as an optional extra to 4" x 2" framing
and 6" x 2" roof purlins). The uprights are spaced at 600mm centres while the roof purlins are 450mm centres. All timber stables /
units are kickboarded to a height of 4ft as standard, (this can be upgraded to 8ft kickboard). A damp proof membrane
is applied to the bottom of the soleplates.
The roof to our timber stables are constructed using black corrugated onduline sheeting, which
has a manufacturers maintenance free guarantee of 15 years, and come complete with a 4ft canopy. All stables have
the added benefit of a translucent sheet in every 12ft box. All stables come with guttering to the front, and louvered
ventilation grilles in the gable ends. We offer two eaves height options as standard either
7ft or 8ft, (eaves being from ground level to the bottom of the canopy, excluding brickwork).
The timber stables doors are 4ft wide with the bottom door kickboarded, and the top door ledged and braced.
Doors come complete with 24" heavy duty galvanised T-hinges, galvanised brenton bolt, tie back hooks & kick over latches.
A galvanised anti chew strip is applied to the top of the bottom door.
