Some timber sizes stated are nominal (size before machining). Timber is a natural product,
which is inspected at the time of manufacturing. We cannot be held responsible for subsequent timber shrinkage, warping, cracking
or movement once your building has been erected.
All building sizes are approximate, based on external measurements and do not include any overhang.
Prices and specifications subject to alteration without prior notice.
Site preparation is the customer's responsibility, the base should be firm, level and suitable
for the building you are purchasing. Our delivery team reserve the right to refuse to erect a building onto an unsuitable
base. If a building is erected on a base that is not suitable, it is then the customer's responsibility for any subsequent
damage that may occur to that building.
The customer will provide suitable access for our delivery vehicle to get within 1.5m of the
erection site. Our vehicle cannot go off road, unless there is a suitable vehicle on site capable of towing, if the need arises.
We will not be held responsible for any damage howsoever caused to the customer's land or property whilst gaining
access, or in the execution of the erection of the building. This includes vehicular access to the base/site and required
transit across land, paddocks, fields or garden. Any access problems that are not notified at the time of ordering will
result in either; an additional charge, or the building being delivered only and not erected. Therefore please advise us of
any access problems at the time of ordering. A small amount of excess materials may be left on site in one location,
for disposal by the customer.
Some buildings may require planning permission or building regulation approval, the customer
is responsible for this. We can supply copies of building plans for you to submit to your local council.
A deposit of one third is required at the time of ordering, with the remainder being due on the
day of completion. All monies, whether cash, cheque or card to be paid to our delivery team before they leave the site. All
buildings remain the property of Marsh Timber Buildings until payment is received in full. We reserve the right to dismantle
and remove any building that is not duly paid for in full. The customer must allow our staff access to the site for this purpose,
the customer will be notified in writing if this is to be instigated.
Any complaints must be notified within 7 days of the completion of your building, and prior to
any livestock being admitted, or any internal modifications being carried out. The company will not be held responsible
for damage caused by extreme weather conditions, fire, theft or Acts of god. Please ensure you have adequate insurance for
your new building and any materials delivered to site, to cover against fire, theft, extreme weather conditions, Acts of God,
or any other loss or damage.
All external cladding and framework timber is ACQ pressure treated. ACQ is a water based preservative
applied by vacuum pressure, which when impregnated into wood makes the chemical components become fixed within the wood structure,
and cannot be easily removed. The ACQ preservative system provides long-term protection from ecay, insects and termites. ACQ
conforms to BS EN 599 Part 1 and BS EN 335.
